Summary: I launched an original fashion product—the 360° Reversible Women's Blazer—that can be worn 4+ ways and is fully reversible and is wrinkle- and stain-resistant. Inspired by the trend toward minimalism and my own frustrations packing for business trips, the 360° Blazer makes deciding what to wear simpler, more sustainable, and more stylish. I conducted customer discovery on pain points for women who frequently travel, designed the initial product from scratch, created a physical prototype (that I sewed myself from homemade patterns), researched crowdfunding sites that would sell and manufacture the product, and promoted the design on social media.
Role: Product Lead, Designer
Results: 1600+ votes on the design stage at Betabrand, the leading crowdfunding site for innovative fashion, and moved to the crowdfunding stage for launch in late 2018.
